In 1975, Hung Tak Apparel Limited was incorporated as a manufacturer of men's shirts and other garments. The present proprietor of the Company worked for Hung Tak as Sales Director at first, and took it over from its former owner in 1989. In 1993 - four years after the acquisition of Hung Tak, Sunan Industries Limited was formed with the current partners.

In 1997, the Group established a state-of-the-art factory in Zhuhai, China, which is reachable from Hong Kong in only an hour's boat trip. Unlike other cities, Zhuhai is dubbed the 'Riviera of China' with well-developed infrastructure and beautiful environment. These advantages, coupled with other factors, made Zhuhai the ideal location for the Group's manufacturing site. The Zhuhai factory, situated 25 minutes away from the ferry pier, comprises four buildings occupying a total area of 150,000 square feet. The factory is in the proximity of Zhongshan City, which is also a premier location for modern factories.

1998 saw major alteration works to the factory carried out to enhance production capacity and efficiency. 2001 served as another milestone for the factory when it was certified to ISO9001 standard, signifying the compliance of the factory's quality system with world-recognized standards.
